How we do our work

At the University of Minnesota, we have over 130 experts working to close gaps and improve educational outcomes. We’re dedicated to discovering “what works” but we know there isn’t just one answer. Instead, our researchers work closely with educators in classrooms and beyond to develop new strategies and programs.

As one of Minnesota’s key trainers of teachers, administrators, school counselors and psychologists, and child and youth development specialists, our programs are informed by the most current research. This leading research inspires students across the University to focus their dissertations and theses on solutions to help narrow achievement gaps.
